• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder repair moving along

Any word yet?

Randy, they had Brian's Spyder done on Friday. Of course we were both working. Saturday it snowed, they are closed on Sunday, Monday, the road to our house still not really good for spydering on. Tuesday, Brian is so very sick, he didn't go to work, Wed. still not feeling well and I was gone all morning, so no way to get him to the dealership. TODAY, he picked up his spyder and had sunshine and weather in the low 40's. He even rode to work today. He says his spyder has never run better. Very happy for him.

I am so very happy for you both. Good timing on the weather, too. Enjoy the Ryde! Hope to see you soon.

I wanted to ryde mine to work today. It turned over but gave me a VSS error message and wouldn't do anything else. I tried the relays and still nothing.

Charge the battery. If it is charged, I suspect it may need replacement.

:agree: You may have 25% charge:

Scotty, your a genius! The battery just needed a charge!

Is a battery tender designed to be left plugged in all the time or just before a planned ryde to "top it off"?
If it is a Battery Tender or one of the other sophisticated motorcycle chargers, it can be left on a maintenance free (sealed) battery. I leave mine on four bikes with sealed batteries all winter.

Thanks, I picked the Spyder up on my birthday. Though it was cold, it was nice to ride again.
