• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just Another Blooper bye BRP

Miles don't accumulate indefinitely, but most manufacturers added another digit. BRP not only didn't add another digit, but they programmed the base in km, so it flips over even quicker than we in the US are used to. I expect it will eventually lower resale value for us all, since an "Actual Mileage Unknown" or "Exceeds Mechanical Limits of Odometer" title usually carries a negative stigma. I hope the RT-S is different.
:agree:

Wouldn't it be nice if when our odo's hit X miles, it would flip back to the 20's again. We would still keep our hours, (knowledge and wisdom) but have a new body.
Think the world would be totally different.:yikes:

Do you guys consider the 62k miles / 100, 000k km 'odometer roll-over' issue a concern that BRP should jump on to fix?

AND

Does the 2010 RS and RT models have the same limitation, does anyone know?

Thanks
