Spyder Patch Coming Soon

Hi Mark, I like the overall design, and here is the, but, some of my fellows here, have a good suggestion. Separate rocker above and below, with the Spyder of their choice, silver, yellow, red, or even a black (with a silver outline to highlight). You folks to great work, I have order several items and they are top self. I also hope to see the t-shirt design back out again, soon.

Another vote here for a blue RTS

Mark, I use to own a 6 thread embroidery machine and it probably wouldnt be too difficult to make a generic colored spyder on the patch and just change your color spool for different colored spyders

I agree to dropping the spider. Also can it be changed to "Can Am" on top, and "Roaster" on bottom. Or would that be a trademark issue? I think having the bike and wording separate would be better too, as we can attach as we desire. Of course that would mean no webbing, but that would be okay too. Also why would my being left-handed have anything to do with the size?

Hello Everyone,

Working on this new patch for jacket backs and SpyderLovers everywhere.

The preliminary mockup is here for viewing, of course we still have to digitize this and make it even purtier.

The thought is to size this at about 10 1/2" wide x 9 3/4" high, or if you're left-handed, 26.67cm long x 24.77cm tall, That should work for most leathers and jacketbacks.

We plan on doing this on in 3 colors: yellow, silver, and of course fiery red.

Let us know if you like it as is, or have a wonderful idea on how to make it even more fantabulous.

Love the patch. As for colors the wife and I disagree. Her Spyder is yellow and mine is silver. Since I am the one responding, any color is great. Just let us know when they are available. Thanks-redneck

Great Job but the Spyders aren't solely 100% "Roadster" style.

Why not have a pic of BOTH the RS & RT with the logo saying, "Can-Am" on top and "Spyders" on the bottom with the "Y" looking like the red BRP "Y"?

A three piece patch would look great but may be a problem in some areas and states. I wear a three piece patch on my vest but with permission of the local dominant club. Just a thought.

Rockytime is right. I have some backround on this. A 3 piece patch is a statement, it doesn't matter that it wasn't your intent to make one. This is serious biz for some folks. No need to overhaul the design, just keep it one piece.

A patch to match.

At last a patch to match. These machines are head turners and so should the patch be. My 10c worth. Between the "Spyder" and the "Roadster" I would like to see a great big mean looking red spider. I'm not wearing the patch whilst riding a Harley, BMW or whatever ? so why detail the model.
Besides I think a lot of detail might be lost if a rendition of the actual machine were to be embroidered. Just a large red spider for people to see as you pass them rapidly on the highway would suffice.

Too many versions of Spyders out there .... I'd remove the center picture and keep it all graphics. That's my 2 cents.

Spyder Back Patch

As do others, I love the top and bottom rockers and the web. HOWEVER, ditch both the RS and the red spyder. INSTEAD, use a larger version of the Spyder graphic (fused spider/Spyder) as seen on the Cat Specialties patch for the centerpiece and without the 'SPYDERLOVERS' lettering. Shoot ... I'd be happy with the top and bottom rockers and a larger Spyderlovers patch for the middle ... similar in design to my Blue Knights layout pictured to the right.

Same as above, except for the centerpiece, superimpose a large vertical spider (like a widow or an orb weaver).

Simplicity is best. Definitely kill biasing the patch to one model of Spyder or the other. I have an RT-S. Others have RS's. We would all want the patch to compliment our bikes.

Definetly think of blue in your color choices. From the amount of blue Spyders in Magog it seems to be very popular up there. They even had a choice of blue for the RT-S model in Canada.

:agree:Rockers are good; webs are good, colored spider are okay but any version or color of Spyder photo would be a deal breaker for me. As an option, maybe people can add seperate rockers such as "touring" and "Spyderlovers" to the main patch. Just as a thought.
