• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My reason is simple, I ride a VTwin and the recommened change interval is 4500 miles so that's what I do.

~~~ You’re right, the early twins spec’d 4500 mile interval, and like Troop & Tom said, neither accumulates anything close to 9300 miles in a year’s time so as the factory spec’s, if you don’t accumulate 9300 miles in a year’s time, change the oil/filter once every 12 months. Problem solved. Thanks guys!

According to my Owner's manual it's 9300 mi (15000K) or 1 year whichever comes first. So I change it every year.

This time I got the the XPS oil change kit. First time I've ever seen a half quart of oil....
