• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've been putzing with ours in the garage, prepping for Spyderfest. Tomorrow, we ryde ......where, I don't know, but we're gonna ryde somewhere...LOL...Finally some spring weather. Had 8" of snow on Wed, it's all gone, and 60's in the forecast.

Mileage

I started the season (when I bought it) with 9100 miles 28 days ago

today 10891. Riding season is year around for me.

Today was the last ride of the season for the group I ride with. Snow birds are flying north. We rode to Tucson and up to the top of Mt. Lemmon. Just a titch over 8K feet high. Lots and lots of twisties and scenery that is superb. A little over 277 miles round trip. Great ride except for the part going through Tucson. I counted 51 signal lights. Seems we caught our share of red ones. I've done this on the Goldwing several times. Much more fun on the Spyder especially going through town. Next up is our annual 4-6 week summer trip north to escape the desert heat. Probably sometime after mid July. Have a safe and enjoyable summer......

Great news....

Happy to hear this wonderful news..:clap:What's the estimate for the 2018 ryding season...?? 30,000 :ohyea:

Started shoveling the Spyder out, but still tons of snow on the ground here. Will be a couple of weeks yet!:yikes:

Thanks!!!! Time will tell, what I'll end up with for the 2018 riding season.

We hope to have an extra long riding season, because we had a loooooooooooong winter. Maybe I'll hit the 30,000 mile mark by the end of the season.

It's never fun going through Tucson regardless of the mode of travel. Horrendous traffic made worse by traffic lights EVERY BLOCK! Never again.

Mt. Lemmon is on my bucket list for next winter. Where are you headed north to? We're in Oakley, UT. If you're in the area, give me a shout.
