Glad to hear you were able to sort out what the issue was with burning too much fuel. It is also interesting to note that you now realize the exhaust sounds different when you are running lean versus running rich. I am not sure my ears would be tuned in enough to hear that difference. :thumbup:
i noticed that with hindle also.
when the spyder is running good, hindle has deeper tone also but when my spyder starts to lean out(my spyder always had that habit), hindle sounded like what i can only describe as "dry". it's like distorted, higher pitched noise...
i think some has described it as high pitch metallic sound.
your spyder may not be leaning itself thou.
i went ryding today and spyder began to lean a little bit when it got really hot and had that hiccup again and cut off twice but after a little while, started to run healthy again. i am thinking and hoping it's the wideband2 at work.
