• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

spyder is at Dynojet for power commander testing

Glad to hear you were able to sort out what the issue was with burning too much fuel. It is also interesting to note that you now realize the exhaust sounds different when you are running lean versus running rich. I am not sure my ears would be tuned in enough to hear that difference.

i noticed that with hindle also.
when the spyder is running good, hindle has deeper tone also but when my spyder starts to lean out(my spyder always had that habit), hindle sounded like what i can only describe as "dry". it's like distorted, higher pitched noise...
i think some has described it as high pitch metallic sound.
your spyder may not be leaning itself thou.

i went ryding today and spyder began to lean a little bit when it got really hot and had that hiccup again and cut off twice but after a little while, started to run healthy again. i am thinking and hoping it's the wideband2 at work.

DynoJet Power Commander installed

I just picked up my bike last night with the new power commander and muffler set. WOW! Where you really notice the difference is in the low gears. In first gear... it is soooo smooth and responsive. I accidentally burned out rubber at a city stop light once it turned green... just wasn't use to the quick response. More to come later on this but my early observations seem to point to a good investment in doing this for my RT-S.
