• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I sometimes wonder why some folks use long drawn out or hard to speak names on here ???

I chose mine so that when i meet people it is easy for them to remember my (Handle) name at the same time. (although some wish to forget it quickly :roflblack:)

Well FRANK, I don't really have any comments. But I am glad I can remember your name.

My name is Mike , the first forum I ever joined was for the Jaguar X type , hence Mike X , I just carried on using it , saves having to remember numerous handles .

I chose PrairieSpyder to reference the geographic features where I live and grew up. I use "Prairie.." as a prefix on other forums, too. Plus it doesn't require an explanation like my old handle did - "bxntrk" meaning "be eccentric."

I thought it meant boxing trunks. :joke:

My nick name was given to me many years ago in a galaxy far far away. Oh, wait, wrong name.

Mine was a carry over from my time in federal, crap, not that one either. Ok, deep breath, must think...

Army medic for 20 years, you either get called "Doc" or you get injured in the line of duty so they can get a "Doc" lol

Doc

Don't know..!!

Been using it online for a long time. If other join forums I'm on they know me right off. Got nothing to hide and if I do I don't care....!! :roflblack:
