Spyder Hand Tools

We have customers every day calling and asking what type of tools they need for very simple tasks on their Spyders. A lot of them are for just installing Lid Net's, Etc.

It seems that a lot of people that are purchasing Spyders do not have any type of Torx Tools.

Most people do have socket sets and screwdrivers.

For most tasks an assortment of Torx is all you need.

I found a set at Home Depot and tried them (only $9.97, way more everywhere else). Hopefully this is helpful to a few people out there.

I have also supplimented the :spyder2: tool kit with a set of torx. They have come in handy a lot of times compared to the standard tools included.

i bought a set of torx sockets a couple years ago, at autozone. they were also around ten bucks.:thumbup:

Just in case anyone wants a bit for their electric driver, the vast majority of the torx head bolts on the body and brackets are M6 bolts with a T27 torx head. Most of them 25mm long.

My Ford GT also uses a large number of these same bolts for belly pans, brackets and things so already had the adjustable torque driver tool.
