There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was kind of sold on the Central Florida idea but the Ocala Forest might make even better sense. The extra ride time and distance to Southern Florida might not appeal to out of Staters. The rides in the National Forest might be more attractive to visitors and rides South could always be planned as a ride option.

I am excited about the Cuba Spyderfest but like the idea of having an event or just a weekend ride in Florida. My trailer is suppose to come in Thursday so it looks like I will be trailering my motorcycle. Please don't think less of me...LOL...Look forward to making new friends in Mo.

As a new owner who's looking for some type of event to attend, I like the idea of having something here in Florida. Central Florida does seem to make sense to make it easier for people from neighboring states to be able to join in. I can't wait for this to be set up.

Teddy & I usually try to get to Florida once a year durring our Christmas break from work , usually Dec. 23-Jan 2nd, would be great if there were a Spyder Event maybe right after Christmas & durring that time of year, usually us "Northeners" are ready for some fun n the sun :yes::yes::yes:

Dave in all of my years attending Biketoberfest, I have seen it's popularity dwindle and felt last year was a real disappointment. IMHO. I get my fair share of Daytona at Bike Week! Spyder owners seem to spend their days at the BRP trailer. Organized rides seem to be a much better venue and activities specifically for Spyder Owners, (not that all riders wouldn't be welcome) I think would have more appeal. Biketoberfest is one of the reasons November is an alternative possibility.
