There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Review: Spyder Extras Flip Up Seat Support Bracket

I think you meant slingmods or SE performance? Unless “SE Performance” is also SpyderExtras but I’ve never heard them mention it.

Yep. These are made by Spyder Extras. I actually live in the same town as the company and I’m friends with the owner. I went by there today and bought one at their office.

I met Steph and Mike at the Hot Springs rally and had them do some stuff to the bike. Very nice people.

Looks like a great solution to the problem. And wow, talk about an easy install!

But I'm wondering, has BRP addressed the issue on the 2024 models? I've got 14,000+ miles on mine and a lot of seat lifts with no problems so far. If I was going to have a strut problem, should I have experienced it by now? Or does it take longer to show up?

Just trying to figure out if this is something I need or if it is a pre-2024 model problem.

Can’t say have problems with filling up, gett to brake fluid however- still need something taller if wanna see.

The only problem I've had with lifting the driver's seat, is that it doesn't come up as far as I'd like.
The fix for me was to also lift the front "pointy" edges of the passenger seat and then lift the driver's seat.

the passenger seat doesn't come up very much, since the driver's backrest prohibits that from happening, but it's enough.

So no, it's not something I'd consider adding to my 2024 Spyder.

I just received the seat lift kit from Slingmods, easiest mod I’ve ever done.
Woks perfectly.

Just looked at my USPS tracking. Left from warehouse in Southern CA area and it is now in Anchorage, Alaska!! Gotta love the USPS!! :(

My dealer did a warranty replacement on my two-month-old spyder's seat strut several days ago. They had to order the part from Can Am. The replacement felt about three to four times more stable than the original strut (it even holds up my seat covered with my 'butt buffer').

As a backup, I had ordered the flip up seat support gadget; when it arrived, my only question was which way the flap pointed - towards the front, or towards the rear of the bike. I chose the rear...

I really like the 'new improved' support because it raises the seat higher for fueling access. Since I have the Show Chrome seat strut, not buying another one. BRP should have addressed this problem long ago as some riders have already mentioned. Cheers and have a good day.

Flap to rear, as you installed. Mine is now at the local Post Office and will arrive today :)

Mine arrived today and I installed it during a commercial in the Georgia vs Texas football game. Didn't miss a minute of the game and I only have one hand to work with. Works great. Consider me a happy camper. Now I won't have to **** out Can Am every time I gas up. Now I need to find something other than my block of wood to use for the trunk. **** Can Am.

I ordered mine from SlingMods if it makes any difference.
