• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Codes

Took a trip last week with 3 other guys up to Lake George, for Americade. Stayed in Saratoga Springs and rode up the interstate to the Lake. On our way back, the dreaded Orange Screen appeared and the bike went into Limp Mode. This being the 2nd day of our trip, I was concerned. I thought I knew what the problem was, but waited until we got back to the motel. I pulled up the Spyder Codes app on my phone, pulled up the codes on the bike and realized what I had thought was in fact the problem. I had been leaning my foot against the brake pedal! Waited about 1/2 hour and cked and the screen was back to normal. The rest of the trip was great, stopping in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Got home yesterday, Sunday in a pouring rain, but had stayed dry Monday thru Saturday. Other than my stupidity, the bike ran great. Was with a Wing, a Harley Trike and another 2015 RTS. Mileage was in the low 40's most of the way.

Fun, fun, fun

Sounds like an amazing trip. Glad your only problem was having your foot on the brake and confusing the nanny...:gaah:nice mixed group...

We were on a trip this year and one couple headed out early and hot caught in rain, they called because tgey were in Limp Mode, they had the same code as you. He had worn bigger boots than normal due to the rain and he was riding the brake.

It sure is nice to be able to pull up codes anywhere and anytime.
