• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder and the Heartbreak Kid ... Shawn Michaels

The next thing you know they'll be showing HHH in a commercial. As much as I didn't care for the Danica one, this one takes the cake. Please bring back Lamont, Farrin, Fred and the group.

Chris

As much as you can dislike or not care for WWE or Wrestling, this guy, who is no longer a wrestler anyway but was a huge star, is widely recognized by one of the key target demographics for BRP.

But hey, to each it´s own, I thought it was funny given I am a fan so I can see how other people might not relate

Plus, as much as I like their work (I do not know them personally) outside from SpyderLovers (who already own a spyder or a majority does) nobody knows who they are so you need this promotional gimmicks

This one will bring in the WWE fans.

To each his own. I like it; it shows BRP has a sense of humor.

Sorry zavalza,

I was writing mine as you were writing and it looks like I copied you..

I would think that by my reference to Triple H you would know that I am a follower and have been for many years of the WWE. I can see good ole Vince McMahon (too bad that Barbara didn't win he senate in CT) jumping on both HBK and HHH and requiring a cage match. Perhaps we could bring back Eddie Garrero (viva la rasa) However, you chose to think I didn't.

Oh sorry Chris, I did notice your HHH reference it was more in line with a general mindset not a particular answer to you. I apologize if it came across that way (Just in case you want to know, is raza :) but I promise to ignore the typo in Spanish if you ignore mine in English)

I think Shawn Michaels should be looking for a new agent and BRP needs to go back to the drawing board!

Whaaaaaaa?

That was really bad....and on several levels! I'm just glad nobody was looking over my shoulder when I watched that. It wasn't funny, cool or inspiring. What was it trying to represent?
"If you have brain damage, you should ride a spyder?"
I'm feeling a little embarrassed right now...

Not a wrestling fan but it wasn't the worst I seen!:joke:After all it is just a sales pitch! They are trying to sell a product.

People deride wrestling in the same level they criticize driving a tricycle.
He was known for his character of telling people to S***k it (Ride it) and deal with his choices.

It is funny for whoever knows the back story and some of the inner jokes of the dialogue as well as the antics related to his retirement.

But if I need to explain all of that you must be right about not being a good ad, or we are not the target for it.

I've been wondering which demographics group BRP is trying to hit with this. I think I got it figured out, but 12-14 year olds can't even drive yet :dontknow: Now if they would have featured Gorgeous George and given away a gold bobby pin with a demo ride, it would have captivated the hearts of the geriatric set who would then discover the undeniable benefit of a 3rd wheel!

The rating they hit is the 18 - 49 with 2 million viewers (aprox) every Monday, which as it turns out is the target for BRP, they really didn't expect to appeal to the older crowd but to the young guy choosing between a convertible or a sports car.

Again, if I need to explain all of that, either they got it really wrong or we just prefer to laugh about something we don't completely understand
