• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We have the information for the 2020 Maggie Valley Spyder Adventures Rally available now.
http://www.valueaccessories.net/SpyderAdventures.htm

It will be held at the same location as in 2019.
October 8th through 10th 2020, Maggie Valley, NC
3732 Soco Rd, Maggie Valley, NC 28751, located at Elevated Mountain Distilling.

We will update the Vendor list as everyone signs up again for 2020.
We will need some volunteers to man the registration table and walk around as greeters. Please contact us if you can help and allow us to continue this successful rally.
There is a link on the Rally Page for a free registration. Please register if you plan on coming, we need to know approximate numbers for planning. Pre-Registration will also get you free door prize tickets.

We have made arrangements with several motels with blocked rooms and or discounts. These are at more reasonable prices. We can not get one hotel large enough for everyone.
We strongly suggest reserving as soon as possible. Rooms are limited at all locations. You must call these motels for reservations.
By using one of these motels you will have other Spyder Ryders there with you.

Clarketon Motel - 828-926-1110 $70 - $90, This is an older Mom and Pop Motel, no frills but clean. They are very biker friendly. We have stayed there for many years and will this year also.
Holiday Motel - 828-926-1186 $79 weekday, $120 Fri and Sat.
River Point Lodge - 828-926-4343 $89 - $99
Stony Creek Motel - (828) 926-1996 $70 - $125

Sounds like fun. I am making reservations now. We will probably stay in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, but that is a lot closer than last year when we stayed in Boone, and rode over for the day. Besides, the ride over to Maggie Valley via 441 and hwy 19 is really nice.

I must say. A very good event this year. Very enjoyable. I liked it better than the previous venue. I know it is a lot of work putting these events together. It's not easily done. Kudos to those who made this year's event worthwhile.

Thanks for the information. I just made reservations for 10/7-11. This year we will be staying in a cabin in Maggie Valley and I am looking forward to meeting old and new friends again.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday. I've got a friend who lives in Asheville so I'm hoping they'll let me sleep on their couch. If not, I'll book a room. A Friday ride that had a turn around point somewhere closer to Wilkesboro would be good. I could start the ride on the way back to Maggie Valley. Not sure if I can get there by the beginning of the Friday ride. I live about 2.5 hours away and I'd have to leave the house @ 0600. My coffee isn't hot that early.

I cannot speak for the rally itself, but I will definitely be there with my crew. Since we are going to be in a cabin, there should be no issue, unless they do an all out quarantine, with no going outside at all. I have a M109 rally in Staunton, Va for the week after Father's day. That one is still in question, but we are hoping things will be under control by then.
Stay safe everyone.

Is this still happening? They are saying this could last till August.

Yes this rally is still happening. We strongly suggest making your reservations now. If you wait it could be very expensive for rooms.
If you do plan on going please register so we know how many to expect and can make appropriate plans. You also get door prize tickets with the free registration.

Any update as to when it will happen? I've heard that it has been rescheduled due to the pandemic.

Maggie Valley has not been re scheduled. It has been the same date since last Fall.
Everything is out doors for this event and we have lots of room.
We were able to hold our Spyder Event in Zanesville Ohio without issues and do not expect any here either with the exception of safety precautions due to the ongoing situation we have.
Please pre order your event shirts now so we have an idea of how many we will need.
