• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder 1 - Bunny 0

At least you didn't hit one of these!

 You have "Jack-a-lopes" down by you also? :D
I agree; those antlers, will tear a tire off of a front-end loader! :yikes:

So far two Jack Rabbits have wanted to see the inner workings of the front suspension. They got a real up close view. The Spyder is wide enough that you cannot safely swerve to miss a rabbit.

:agree: Either put tire on them, or aim to have them pass JUST inside one of the tires...
Hopefully; they'll miss the rear tire!

I did that with a "Quill Turtle" once...
I ended up with about 20 quills in the rear tire sidewall! :gaah:

Spyder 1 - Opossum 0

I hit an Opossum in the darkness of morning and did not want to dodge , I think I caught him just past the front left wheel as I only heard one WHACK ,when it was light I looked all over underneath and could not find any hair or blood which seemed strange as this was a full sized opossum. Scared the c-----p out of me though .

Spyder1, if you had hit an American possum it probably would have left a mark. Those Irish possums are so drunk you don't know if you hit one or not.

We have a lot of suicidal squirrels in the Ozarks. Sometimes they have to jinx three or four times before they manage to get under a wheel. I never swerve when I see one, figuring if they want to kill themselves, who am I to stop them. :yikes:

It Really Happened!

That's it!

Now you have done it!

Bob

Several years ago I ran over a bunny rabbit (with my car) on the way to church Easter Sunday! My children, now mostly grown, still remind me that I killed the Easter Bunny!
