Snow is still on the ground here in eastern Kentucky but I am ready to ride. I can not wait to hit the road. Anywhere sounds good! I know I'm not the only one. :D Our first long ride this year will be the Blue Ridge Parkway from North to South. Where will you be heading? What rides have you planned all winter?

Spring Fever

If there is no snow or ice on the roads just, plug in the heated clothing and ride :clap:make sure you wash the Spyder after your done.:yikes: Stay Safe & Warm !

In the same place here. Just waiting for the snow and ice to melt off my access road. I am very fortunate that I live in a semi rural area. We have beautiful mountains on one side and Cook Inlet on the other. Within 5 miles of my place are a half dozen rides that I have posted pictures of many times. Longer rides are even better. I also plan on two or three overnight trips this season.

Spring cannot come to soon.

As everyone, can't wait for the snow to get up & go!!!!!
Looking forward to a 3 week road trip with my better half down the Pacific Coast, a nice little stop over in Eureka, CA to make some new friends at Spyders In The Redwoods and topping it off cruising the Going-To-The-Sun Road on our way back home! :2excited:

Baby Steps Weatherwise

It's March 7th and 16 degrees with a sunny clear blue sky. Our weather here is generally up & down like a roller coaster but today we're supposed to get a little taste of Spring with afternoon temps in the mid forties. That and the sun will help get rid of a lot of snow which is still several inches deep yet. The weekend will be cold again in the thirties but rebound into the forties again on Monday & Tuesday.

Riding Plans

As Deanna777 said, it is still winter here in VT. -18 yesterday, -3 this morning and a foot and half of snow on the ground here in the valley, but we can still make plans to ride. Will head to the Whitehorse Gear Open House in May, then a 4 week trip in August to the Canadian Rockies, Glacier NP, Yellowstone, Tetons, and the Black Hills. Sept. will see us head to SpyderQuest in Lake George, NY. Shaping up to be a good riding season.;)

This years Winter has been cutting into my Spyder Riding. Today, 38 Degrees, sunny, tomorrow might hit 40, Then next week cold again. Sounds like you are going to doing alot of riding this year. Deanna777:ohyea:

Almost feel guilty

I feel guilty since the weather here has only prevented me from ryding a total of a week or so thus far. In fact, I experienced a dead battery in my SUV due to not having used it for months!!!

This weekend will be 70 and 72 degrees respectively...and I will be out ryding a couple hundred miles each day minimum. So much for winterizing our Spyders this year!!!

It must be nice not to have to Winterize your Spyder if you live out in the Western part of the United States. Deanna777
