• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Speedometer error??

I haven't read yet where two Spyders or even varied models of Spyders in stock condition (thats rare) compare their speeds while ryding together. With helmet intercoms this is doable. One guy compared his bike to his Infiniti and I believe they were the same. Also, has anyone been ticketed when they have been traveling with 2 or more bikes and the others weren't ticketed?

I don't know of any state where it's impossible to fight a ticket. I've fought them in many states... and 'won'.
By 'won'... I mean that I was able to pay more and have the points removed and the ticket expunged from my record.
It's all a money game that has little to do with 'safety'. They love to target out-of-staters as they figure we'll never fight the tickets.

I joined this group:

As a member, they'll pay your ticket if you cannot get a deferment using their forms, etc...

Using their vast knowledge and information, I've fought 3 tickets and 'won' each of them. Even had an Indiana judge call me directly after filing all of my discovery requests. They basically don't want to do all the legal work and tie up their system over a silly ticket... so they'll offer you a deferment... all you usually have to do is pay a bit more and go 6 months without another ticket. Some states allow you to take an online test and receive a deferment.

Since getting my RT.... I've received no tickets... they were all done on my GS. I was a bit crazier back then.

Something I remember as I contemplate getting an F3.....;):doorag:

I dont get speeding tickets other than those times I mentioned because im pretty consevative in my driving when in my pickup. on my Spyder ... lets just say I agressively try to stay under that thin line.
Thanks for that link though. I tried to fight that ticket but they just make it very difficult by making you appear several times, and its your word against their word. The officer said when he issued the ticket to just take Defensive driving. Thats what I ended up doing along with a 100+ dollar court cost and a couple of days off with trips to court not to mention the cost and time for Defensive driving, taking paperwork back to them....:banghead:
