What is this 'speedometer' thing you guys are talking about and what is it used for?![]()
Mine is anywhere from 1-4MPH faster than my Garmin. I usually go by the GPS speed as it reads exact to my Car so feel that it is a bit more accurate in most cases.
The GPS is a lot more accurate in almost all cases!
If I remember right there's a way to tweak the speed numbers via the BUDDs system. Might have the tech look at it the next time the Spyder has to go in for work.
not necessarily true...i work on gps's as part of my job...they are never real accurate, unless u spend 5 thou or so......i wouldnt rely on the gps totallyThe GPS is a lot more accurate in almost all cases!

How do I get mine to match those signs along the road??hyea::roflblack:
I have compared my speedometer speed with the Unmanned Police radar systems they set up on the side of the road. My speedometer reads the same as these systems. Every time. :2thumbs:HAS ANYONE CHECKED THE SPYDER :spyder:SPEEDOMETER AGAINST A GPS?
