• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Southern Utah Red Rock Spyder Ryde-In

I wondered about that too, how many are registered. Regardless I'm looking forward to it. Never been there before but I hear it's nice

I won't be picking my 12 RTS up until the Sept 22nd (this coming sunday), therefore I haven't registered. I live about 3 hrs away and might just take a ride up that way to get used to riding it.

Hope everyone's having a good time at this. I had everything planned, hotel, my route up and back, and then the $%# hit the fan at my work and I had to cancel. Needless to say I'm not a happy camper right now and hope there will be a 2nd one that I can make.

What a fantastic time! Great rides, gorgeous scenery, great food, fantastic people! We will be back! Special thanks to Roger and Debora, who stepped up to do this ride in. Organized, efficient, terrific! They worked themselves to a frazzle, but the result was quite fantastic! We do a lot of events, and I assure you, this one was great!! The tell me they will do it again next year. Come on out!! Hope to see you there! Joe

Just got home this evening. This was a wonderful rally and Roger and Debora did a great job of putting it together. There were very few glitches especially for a first year. Everybody seemed relaxed and to be enjoying themselves. Joe and Ann kept very busy. I went on the Kolob Reservoir ride with Steve as the ride captain. Excellent job and a beautiful underappreciated ride. Thanks Southern Utah Chapter and Debora and Roger.

Congratulations to Roger and Debora. I know this has been a passion of theirs and they've put heart and soul into it. Good people.

2020 version????

Any info yet for the 2020 Ryde-In other than dates? Note on FB says the page is going to be deleted soon and the web site is scant on info.

this is the web page.https://utahspyderrydein.weebly.com...i1MbR6SkoeUtGj7b9OZllVqT5MmULsypNTpCa1nrePyVw They say the will post more information later. The page you were at that is shutting down is the Red Rocks Spyder Rally page and that rally no longer exists. Roger and Deborah are trying to keep the idea going thru their club, Southern Utah Spyder Ryder of America. There should be more info up soon. What did you need to know? Just come it will be fun. I will be there, Jack will be there, Joe and Ann will be there, Roger and Debora are putting it on, its in Southern Utah, what more could you ask for?:roflblack::roflblack:

I need to keep an eye on this, this one is relatively close, and I can do Bryce Canyon...I think...either way, its a pretty ride to St. George, and I love that area.

Yes you can do Bryce very easily either on the way or coming home. One route is to go I70 to Sigurd, UT. Then pickup UT24 to UT ( Burrville and Koosharem) going south. 62 will end in Antimony but continue on the county for some very interesting riding on a good road right to the gates of Bryce. Out of Bryce go west to Junction with US89 and head South. Depending on your time you can go west at Long Valley Junction to Cedar City and I15 South to St. George or if you have more time continue on South on 89 to UT 9 and go thru Zion's then on into Washington and St. George. Or do it in reverse. It is a great ride in and you will enjoy yourself, the people who put it on, The rides, the area, everything.

@ pegasus1300, I live on the 141 in Colorado, I will take the CO96 west which turns into the Utah 46 (might be the 48), through LaSalle. Then I will connect to the Devils Hwy Rt 191 (Old Rt 666) and go south into the Cortez area, I want to take the Can Am to Four Corners, and then on to the event from there. Sounds easy peasy....and I love St George, we talked about moving there actually.

US 191 is in UT and has never been US 666. US 666 is an offshoot of US 66 running north out of Albuquerque into Colorado. I think that you must mean US 491. Anyway that sounds like a great ride. In coming that way you will have the chance to go thru Mexican Hat, very good Navajo Tacos. Also take a slight detour out of Mexican hat and go North for a bit to Natural Bridges and ride up the Moki (Moqui) Dugway, a short but fun little road.
