• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sounds like marbles

I have a 2019 F3 LTD with around 3,500 miles. Recently I've noticed a "rattling" coming from the right side of the engine. This occurs at lower RPM's (let's say between 2,000 and 2,600) when the engine ISN'T under load. It goes away in the higher RPM range (3,500 to ...... ) while the engine is under load. It sounds like marbles rattling in a bag. It's not constant and has NO effect on the bike's performance. Oil level is right where it should be. I'm wondering if it could need a clutch adjustment. I've noticed when the engine is cold it takes quite a few RPM's to get the bike to move. Once it warms up everything's fine. That wasn't the case with my 2016 RT-S. The second you twisted the throttle the bike moved.

Any thoughts??

My F3L has Always sound like a bag of marbles rattling or diesel sounding. For me mostly with a cold engine. Over 16k miles. Sounds the same.

I never hear the marbles sound, but higher RPMs for the bike to move when the engine is cold is normal. The clutch jerks when it engages cold. Once it has a little time to warm up it is smooth. My 2019 has always been like that. It does not need to be at operating temperature. Just a minute or two idling on a cold start makes the clutch much smoother.

Have to agree, noisy motor and little bit jerky clutch for first few minutes seem to be normal.Clutch not adjustable anyway.Earplugs will fix the noise issue and make over ride more enjoyable.

Did you just do your 1st service? If so, check the oil level. It's time for an oil change if you haven't done it yet.
