• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

sorry for the new post

but it is important that we start a campaign on the heat issues we have and get BRP to respond to us, the more calls or e mails they get the more interested they will become. i just got this e mail back from them about the heat and the parts being delivered and back ordered.
i wrote back to them and asked to get a case started and to get a case number so i can follow up with. i also said i think the pipes need to be wrapped to help the heat problems and that i should not spend the time and money to do this. ok here is the e mail i got b4 i responded again.

I just got off the phone with your dealer and the parts for the recall should arrive there shortly. I agree with you that there have been issues with certain parts going out but we are working hard to fix that.

If you still experience heat on the right side that you consider excessive once the recall is performed, it could indicate an issue with the Spyder that would require additional diagnostics and we'll work with the dealer to address that at that time. It is normal that the vehicle releases heat, but your right foot should most definitely not be getting burned, especially if you are wearing proper riding gear.

Keep me posted on anything else that arises and I'll make sure that your concerns are addressed.

Cuz, like Nancy's toy suggested you are posting on the wrong forum. Off topic is for things totally unrelated to Spyders like jokes and other current events. Also, instead of starting new posts for every thought you should post back on your earlier posts so then people can follow what you are talking about without opening a bunch of threads.

That is unless of course your goal is to have more posts than Bob Denman. :roflblack:

When I get on Spyderlovers I always go to the What's New or New Posts button. When you do that you will see all posts that have been posted new or all posts with new replies. And you see them from all of the different forums. Give it a try and I think you will understand better how to post and where to post.

Good luck.
