but it is important that we start a campaign on the heat issues we have and get BRP to respond to us, the more calls or e mails they get the more interested they will become. i just got this e mail back from them about the heat and the parts being delivered and back ordered.
i wrote back to them and asked to get a case started and to get a case number so i can follow up with. i also said i think the pipes need to be wrapped to help the heat problems and that i should not spend the time and money to do this. ok here is the e mail i got b4 i responded again.
I just got off the phone with your dealer and the parts for the recall should arrive there shortly. I agree with you that there have been issues with certain parts going out but we are working hard to fix that.
If you still experience heat on the right side that you consider excessive once the recall is performed, it could indicate an issue with the Spyder that would require additional diagnostics and we'll work with the dealer to address that at that time. It is normal that the vehicle releases heat, but your right foot should most definitely not be getting burned, especially if you are wearing proper riding gear.
Keep me posted on anything else that arises and I'll make sure that your concerns are addressed.
