• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Something wrong with this picture?

it appears that the tires are on the wrong side, they should be reversed. Look at the sidewalls and make sure the arrows are going in the right direction.

Don't Worry! These Guys are Professionals!

The definition of a 'Professional' simply means that they get paid for it. It has noting to do with their skill level!

That is my question, what are you guys seeing that's telling you the tires are reversed. When I accuse them I want to sound like I know what I am talking about!

Front tires should look like this. The out of whack look may just be the picture angle as I don't see them shipping it that way and the tie rods come hooked up.

I might look to another dealer for your services, and if this is what they are giving you I'll bet your new dealer will know what to look for. This would be the place to ask for suggestions - my guy is 2,500 miles away from you, so by the time you got back from your service you'd need to return for your next one (that may not be a bad way to spend a year, thinking about it).

This is the correct mounting position. Different tread design but same principal. Directional tires are specifically designed to better shed water. The Spyder is prone to hydroplane. Shedding water is critical. Mounded backwards (as yours are) actually acts to accumulate water under the tire instead of shed water away from the tire.

I am a professional photographer and have been for 25 years. It is the only thing I do. For this to be camera distortion, the angle of the lens would need to be exceptionally wide, which it is not, and we would have to be significantly to the side of the Spyder, and the photo was taken from close to straight on. I can't see any way this would be an optical illusion.

There are directional arrows on the outside side wall which will indicate the proper rotation of the tires. It does look like they are installed wrong on your new machine.

I'm surprised the dealer would release a photo with the wheels so obviously out of line, not to mention the tires all wrong.

You can tell about the tires by looking and the tread on them.

:agree: It doesn't look like an optical illusion to me either. While it is expected for the inside wheel to be at a greater angle than the outside wheel due to the smaller circle that the inside tire must track in. This does look excessive. Having the tires on backwards does not instill much confidence in the prep providers. You have to wonder what else they got wrong! :yikes:
