• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Something New for the Spyder

Now that we are a two Spyder family, we no longer need to pull the trailer to haul our gear. I had to do something with the trailer, so got rid of the cargo carrier, lengthened the tongue, added some braces, and an upper rack and now we can take the kayaks with us.

(When I give him too much time off from the "honey do list" look what kind of trouble he gets into.;) --Paula)

I LOVE that!!! Nice!!!

the misses and i have been talking about doing that. you beat me to it. how about a closer picture of just the trailer so i can check out some details? please!!!

Great idea - very nice. On a side note, I've never seen that color of red; can I assume it's a custom paint job? It's the right color of red.

Great job Butch..

Pretty ingenious!

I've been wanting to take up Kayaking. We have a lot of (Probably) great rivers to Kayak here in East Tennessee.

I've done some open ocean Kayaking and really enjoyed it. A different animal I know, but still somewhat similar.

You are fortunate that both of you enjoy it. I'm sure I would not be able to get my wife anywhere near it.

Have fun!

That looks GREAT!! :2thumbs:  :firstplace:
Now if the Missus brings up the topic of Kayaking again; I'll have a solution for her!
(They're actually allowing them on some of New York City's reervoirs now...)

I fished in the Neversink Res when I was a kid, but NO boats.

Is that a Harbor Freight type of trailer frame? I have been thing of doing something similar to tow our TerraTrikes.
