I was cleaning my bike today when I noticed a loose screw. Looked a little closer and found the second loose screw. One was completely out the other almost out.
The two screws holding the plastic cover on the right side of the trailing arm.
You might want to check yours.

:agree: this looks like the cable and wiring guide plate running down the swingarm to the rear brake. . That and the belt guard tend to get loose. You are righ, should be checked from time to time...:thumbup:

If you have had work done at a dealer .....that could also be the problem.......things aren't what we'd like them to be ........Mike :thumbup:

On my 2013 when it was at Corbin getting saddlebags, they found the belt guard almost being jammed into the back of the engine because it had come completely loose. Don't know who did it but I think one of the dealers that did a recall. So, do check nuts n bolts often, especially after getting it worked on by dealer.
