• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Someone wanna tell me what the BRP people are thinking?

I am sure glad I bought my ST-S this summer because the new colorations make the 2015s look like 3 wheeled clown cars!:roflblack:

I'm sure there will be folks that love the colorations. I was just not expecting what I saw and I'm still laughing. I wanna make the green one the background on my computer at work, it will keep a smile on my face all day:)

100% agreement on that green color combo. I can't imagine how the hell that color scheme got through how ever many levels of BRP approval before getting the stamp of approval for production!

i agree, but if you go up to quebec, there are a ton of houses painted that color, and even some a little bit "brighter"! it's going to appeal to some, but it sure doesn't strike me as something i'd put in my garage. (the orange, black and white, maybe, just maybe)

They could have just gone all Black on everything. Wouldn't that be exciting, seriously, I like the "out of the box" color schemes. Every color doesn't appeal to everyone. That's o.k. it is not H.D. we don't have to have a black one to be "cool". I like blue, always have on bikes. They didn't do a blue RT but I can see myself on the dark red. Now if I can figure out what color stripes to put on one

If I was buying a bike this year it would be the blue ST limited, really liking the blue and the RT SS red and black combo with the low windshield.

It seems all the other models are still available in solid colors, and I actually really like the two-tone RT Special Series colors, but it appears the RS-S is ONLY available with the super-bright multicolor schemes. People can like or dislike what they want, but I am sure glad I got a Magnesium/Black RS-S when I did. Those RS-S colors would be show-stoppers for me. No way would I buy one.

I have to wonder if there are a lot of unsold 2013 and 2014 RS-Ss out there in the pipeline they want to sell.

I like black. Its just the way I roll....
While other colors are fine as well, I just don't get the "carnival" paint....
The last time I had orange on a wheel was when I was back In college and had a car that was booted awaiting to be towed..,haha

Yeah right you know your rolling with orange wheel now :p

The blue STL is really nice. My wife loves the colour. As for the other combinations.....not so much. There are a lot of younger riders that love the colours they are using and I think they will sell. I do have to say that the colours that they use are distinctly French in origin. I work in Gatineau Quebec and I see many of those colours in their artwork and homes. nojoke The dark red and black on the RTS-S is awesome. My wife wishes that they would put that on a STL. Who knows, maybe I will be painting her STL sometime.

Only long enough to bring them to you to swap for your black ones.....hahaha
Man those orange wheels are going to look sweet with the goblin green!

Then it would be the green goblin mobile
I think they would look better on your black one since Halloween is coming :-)

I thought that some of them looked like Kindergarten Art Class colorings, had gotten mixed in with the Dad's office-work...

It sure is different strokes for different folks. The "clown" look will appeal to some. Once again I am thinking they are looking for a whole new younger demographic.

I don't like some of the new paint jobs, but I am not planning on buying an RSS anyway.

Time will tell if BRP made good decisions on colors. Will the color combinations survive to 2016?
