A few years back, Michael Jordan was criticized for betting $10000 on golf games. He replied that his kids probably wouldn't go hungry if he lost. He was making $30M a year salary and probably more than that from endorsements. To him, $10K was pocket change. If I spent $25000 gold plating my wheels and made $60M a year, I suspect it wouldn't be considered excessive but if I spent the same on what I bring it... well it would be insane. Then, as far as the value of gold plated wheels to the looks? Subjective I guess as I they would look, well dumb.

with all the electro-plating advances you couldn't tell if it were gold or paint..:dontknow: used to be solid and expensive, now its plated and cheap. Do you really care...:dontknow: some people have more money than sense but it is their money...:thumbup:
