Some of this isn't new...
Not sure how much air is really needed to cool this engine, but the radiator isn't exactly huge so every bit helps. At a certain point tho, more air cooling will just make the liquid cooling system work less hard... with the same net effect. So I'm not sure I agree with more air cooling needed around the engine...
However all that heat needs to go somewhere, and your air intake is sucking in that hot air. I do agree that a cool air intake would help a lot. So far most of the options lean towards something custom (unless you don't have the fog lights then you can use the one that goes in there)
The exhaust proximity to the oil cooler and oil tank are certainly hot helping but I'm not sure I'd call it a design flaw.
I never really noticed how close the front cylinder exhaust was to the belt.
and I'd never seen the brake fluid on the frame like that... that's nasty.
Any comments?
