• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SOLUTION FOR HOT SEATS WHILE RIDING?

I have searched the threads but can't seem to find any information on this. I just purchased my RT limited about 7 weeks ago down here in sunny (and quite warm) southwest Florida. Question: The seat appears to be vinyl? Does anyone have a solution for a ventilated seat cover while riding in very warm temperatures. It's a bit distressing arriving at your destination with wet clothing. :opps: I have seen a :spyder2: with the bead seat cover but not sure I want to sit on beads. :( Today I saw a Harley with a seat cover that looked perfect but not sure where it was purchased or even if it would fit the :spyder2: Any suggestions?
Beaded seat works great for me.....

I just bought a airhawk I been riding in 90's this week butt stayed dry It takes a little getting the air right in them but once you do the seat is very comfortable order the 14 inch for my RT it comes with staps so you can attach to the seat I haven't used the staps the seat stays in place once I get to some place I just throw the seat in the frunk. Would like to try a custom seat but for the $$$ they get for them I would want to sit in it to make sure that it fits me. They dealer are to far away to do that.

Let me tell you about the Kontour seat, it is out of this world! Not only does it keep you cool, it also keeps the water from gathering up between your legs in the rain.

I have the RS and first got the comfort seat before riding to LA for the owners event from Arkansas. Pretty good for awhile and it was hot. Then I got the beadrider beads before goint to Canada for the Spyderfest last year after a couple thousand miles I still couldn't get used to them. I felt like I had a bunch of holes in my rear after awhile and it took a lot of walking and stretching to get them to pop out.

My worst experience was trying to do the Dragon last fall with the beadriders, felt like I was on one of those unloading ramps with all of those rollers. Whew, took them off before doing the return trip.

If I knew what I know now, I could have saved a lot of money by finding out about the Kontour first.:2thumbs:

They should really be busy after everyone sitting on it at Spyderfest.
