• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Very sturdy--perfect for inside hard bags. Really cost effective too.

Tom Volk

full disclosure: I own RPW
home of Marsee Products and helen twowheels products

I ride a BMW LT and just bought a RTS Spyder -I have found these bags to be way easier to use (and they are waterproof) than the fitted bags I used to use on my LT . Obviously I am biased !!!--but these bags really are excellent.

dry bag size for RT

All the bags are easy to simply compress and roll to fit whatever you put into them--(assuming you do not overfill!!)

The 30 L bag fits nicely in the top rear case as well as the front 'trunk' . There is a little extra room in the front trunk and you can not quite cram a totally overfilled 30 liter in the top case.

The 20L fits the side cases as do qty 2 of the 15L bags . I like having 2 bags per side to separate my stuff and maximize packing space.

You could also fit a 15L with a 30 L in the front trunk.

These bags are good quality and a great value.

Thanks---

Tom Volk

PS--If you buy them and do not like them--let me know and we will gladly exchange for something else or refund your money!

Luggage Organizer

I use Cabela's Packing Organizers Item:IA-518738. They are inexpensive and work great.

I have one for each type of item I pack. Then I can pull an entire group of items out of the bags when I want. For example: I have one with all of my 'cold gear' that I don't need in the summer but may need on a trip in the fall. I have one that also has a bunch of the 'emergency' items that I might need on a longer trip.

Just received my inserts yesterday. (side bags only) got them from CYCLE CENTRAL POWERSPORTS, less than $200 with shipping.

PS--Be Warned!!--if you look thru the RPW web site site and/or look at the catalog you will find a lot of other stuff you did not know you needed! (tire pressure monitoring system for Trike for instance)

We end up adding things to our catalog and warehouse that we find and use ourselves.

I bought a pair of Fieldsheer Contour saddlebags for the Army Spyder, and I kept them when I sold it. I was thinking about putting them on eBay, but this thread gave me the idea of seeing how they'd fit in the RT's hardbags. I bought them from Bikebandits (gotta love pricematching) for $59, even though they are listed at $75. It's not a perfect fit, but it's also not the $200 BRP wants. I'll probably still buy a couple of the Marsee dry bags (or something similar), but my guess is that many of the soft saddlebags will serve as inserts for the RT.

crazy but htis "shuttle" PC bag fits perfect in my RT .. got it for free a time ago - don`t know if its still available..

crazy brp prices

Hi everyone:
My dealer was kind enough to "lend" me a set of inserts (guess they figured 30k was enough for awhile)... I took them to my favorite upolsterer and he's making me a leather set....I'll post some pics etc when i get them....won't be getting my bike for another 7 days (hopefully)... weather was awesome yesterday and couldn't ride...damn.
$279 + tax is crazy for brp's product.....
