• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Now that is a GREAT Purchase. :congrats: on your new ryde. May you have many "Myles of Smyles" :dg2:

... farkled my feet! Since Len was out of shock relocation brackets, I switched to Plan B and picked up some BRP waterproof riding boots. :yikes:

  • Lamont's NBV highway pegs from Spyderpops. But when I get home i'm gonna twyst them so they fit the way my feet attach to my legs
  • Baja Ron's anti-sway bar, also from Spyderpops. This wasn't a planned purchase, but after the cross winds on ther way here, I asked around. Probably talked to 20 people about it and got about that many opinions. :gaah: So I asked Lamont, and he said go with the anti-sway bar. I did; and I love it! :ohyea:
  • IPS from Lamont. He's selling them from the back of his bike. I sure hope he's paying tax on each of those!
  • Spyderfest t-shirt
  • 2 Can-Am moisture-wicking shirts that were BOGO at Pitbulls
  • Spyderfest bandana
Today, I'm just sitting out the rain, shopping online - dangerous. :lecturef_smilie: Here's what I came up with so far:

  • I'm going to order a trailer hitch for my RT-S and my brother will install it for me.
  • I'm going to look for a super-cheap trailer to haul stuff.
I just don't want to spend so much getting ready to travel that I can't afford to travel any more!:helpsmilie:

As I mentioned in another thread, SZ-Spydie dropped four digits at vendor village today.

I took her RT for a short spin after having the BajaRon sway bar installed; all I can say is "WOW!" Thanks to all the Kansas City Spyder Ryders for encouraging us to swap it out -- night and day difference.

Okay guys; time to 'fess up!:lecturef_smilie:
Who's buying what, and are you putting them on here, or shipping them home? :dontknow:

I was able to put my new adjustable air deflectors on right in PitBull's parking lot, and the half-a- sheepskin is safely tucked under my butt ever since I left the vendor village.

The weather sucks today Bob. Where can I get some waterproof Gloves? I thought mind were but nope! :banghead: Does anybody at vendor village have them? anybody know how far the boat house is from the battlefield roads motels?

This was my first Spyderfest and I was unprepared, but now I know what to expect. There where at least 5 things I wanted easy 2k plus. I'm saving up for next year and will get some done if not on by then, pretty neat watching the install while you wait.

I guess God wanted me to save more money. I was planning on checking out seats, backrests, floorboards, road pegs, etc. With the crappy weather, having arrived last night, we haven't done a thing. :(

Bought stage one plus Elka's for wifes RS, and wife bought T-shirt and we haven't been to vendor village yet, Looks like that will be tomorrow staying out of the rain tonight.

Elka stage 1 + R shocks for my RT and a vented windshield from the Pitt Crew. I all ready had the shock relocating kit and BajaRon's sway bar... speaking of BajaRon I didn't get to meet him was he there?

I bought a black Ultimate seat, back rest, and passenger backrest. They installed it right after they finished setting up their trailer and awning on Monday. :2thumbs: It's like riding on a cloud now!

I also got a block off plate from Harvey. Works very well!

Oh! And a sweatshirt, and a couple BOGO BRP shirts from Pitbull!
