• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So... Q? for those who get off the tar with a 1330.

Zactly. Very good mention Mickey.

I had another look yesterday arvo underneath after the the cat and was mentioned.
Spotted that actuator / shifter set up. That could be a problem.

Himmm.... Yeah nah. Nice car (2WD) type routes from now on up to a bit of loose stuff on top.

You are not the sharpest person in the clubhouse if you take a $30k spyder out and ride it in the dirt or off road. I've been around those kind of folks before. They're fun to watch but be sure and keep your distance. JMHO

Hmmm, working on my Strine..... haven’t heard that expression in 50 - 60 years. Didn’t realize that it was still being used.

Well and truly still in use, Brucie. There are a serious number of books available and still in print

A little off topic, but one of the things I like most about my RTL is how easy it is to stand up while riding, So when I am on gravel or hard packed dirt roads, I can easily inspect the immediate road ahead and make adjustments when necessary.

I tried that once, Ollicat…….took out two overhanging tree limbs and a low flying duck ;)

I have driven both a 2013 and 2018 RTL on gravel roads (off the TAR or pavement) for many, many miles to reach desired destinations, THE MISSING BELT GUARD is on both and works wonderful, have never had muffler issues on either. The 2013 did have the Air Bag protective cup on it, the '18 doesn't yet. But I regularly ride up to 40 mph on MN dirt/gravel roads with no issues (maybe a little shimmy sometimes, but then I slow down).

Cheers.
Good mention about that guard  I got lucky there as the previous owner had already fitted that.

I worked out how squirrely and quick pointing they are of a loose surface on my SH43 Forgotten World Highway trip last year.
Soon learnt to back it off a bit.
