• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So I bought some property in Arizona... AND...

The trailer I have is about 180lbs and each bike weighs about 220lbs with fuel. The Spyder has no problem pulling it. I might even get you a picture sooner than August. Possibly this weekend... we plan to take the dirt bikes out. :doorag:

Well sources don't mention that the road is gravel and says that it's passable by all vehicles. I too was concerned about the TCS. Maybe I can just disable it just for the trip to and from the property.

I am hoping that it's hard-packed so it won't be an issue. I guess if worse comes to worse I'll just have to rent a truck to go up to the property.

Anyone else have experience riding the Spyder in such conditions?

Well...I can tell you all about it because I own 5 acres 1 mile north of Rt 66 and the area you're talkin about is off Hwy 93 and the road heading toward the grand canyon is pretty tough on all small cars. It's pretty rough territory. The main road in is fine but get off on the dirt roads and you're better off using that lil Kawi you have in the garage.

That's good to know, thanks Al. We have pretty much decided that we'll need to take a regular vehicle up there the first time up to scope it out. If we did end up moving up there I'd have to find a way to improve the road up to our property because I'm not giving up my Spyder. :doorag:

Also, I hear that SpeedSports in Livermore is having something on Sunday, maybe you'd be interested in going down there with us.

I'll see you around.

Sounds great! We visited the Grand Canyon last year when we rode out from TN to the Spyder event in L.A. Beautiful area. Would love to visit again (hint hint)! Heading to South Dakota instead this summer though.
