• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well I don't know about you guys but I woke up to snow this morning!Everything white! I may have to put the spyder away and get the snowmobiles out. My friends told me that the snowmobiles and the spyder look the same in the front anyway:roflblack:

Well, I must be imagining it. The weatherman said "No accumulation expected," but we got at least four inches of the wet stuff. Quite variable, other spots around got less, but we are all white. Does this mean Santa is coming soon?

It's in the air here... but nothing serious is going to happen with it. The NOAA website is all about the temperatures rising.

Winter has come to our part of AK. I now have a covering of about a foot of snow on the ground--and the :spyder2: and Vulcan are parked for the winter.

It is quite beautiful where I live because I am surrounded by woods that have taken on the "Bob Ross" landscape/winter wonderland look. I might even bring out my painting stuff and get back to making more landscape pictures. I used to be a prolific painter but have tapered off in the last few years.

I don't like the cold and the difficult winter driving conditions--but that is always balanced out by the beautiful winter white color, and the special winter colors in sunrises and sunsets.

It got into the low 30s and gave us a good dusting last night, but it's gone now, and will be a little warmer tomorrow. Spyder won't be parked till there's ice and/or salt on the roads.
