There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't want to get political, but most know my thoughts on the subject. MANY are not going to agree with me--but that is ok. I hope I am wrong.

:ani29:: In Alaska, global warming seems to be kicking in. Our summers are warmer, and our winters are warmer. Compared to lower 48, it has been a great winter here, and we have experienced 40 degree weeks. Another is going on right now. The glalciers are melting. Portage glacier (Portage AK) and Exit glacier (Seward AK) have lost a couple miles of there out run just in the 10 years I have lived here. The frozen Arctic ocean is now open ever larger each summer.
:ani29:: The usual weather patterns have been thrown out the door. Lower 48 has experienced the coldest and worst winter in almost 50 years. The other side of the coin--summers have been unusually hot with hundred degree days and drought conditions all over. Look what the ruined crops are now beginning to do with prices.
:ani29:: Something is going on--but I can not speak to it scientifically. My expertise is in accounting and finance.
