Does anyone use any type of clear 3M paint protector film? There are a few spots I'd like to install some, where my bags usually sit.

As soon as I get my wheels on, i'll take some good pics with a real camera.

The plan is to leave all the black as is, and paint the silver face to match the bike. Then paint the wheel trim kit white to match as well. They said the reason its take so long is because the tape job on these things took forever, and they may have to spray it all white, tape the face and then spray the black on again... I hope to hear something this weekend or Tuesday.

That should look really cool as well. I am sure the tape job was a royal PITA for all of the different lines on those rims.

Nice paint job. Some thin black pinstriping along the sides to accentuate the curves might set it off nicely.

I was wondering what the never mind post was about. So you are getting the wheels painted white to match? Good thing we have the thread with the Armor All Wheel Protectant stuff on here, as you may be one who needs it even more than others.

How hard is it to keep the Acura clean?

The spyder is so small, i can wash it pretty easily, just wondering how often I'll have to wash it.

A LOT less than I will with my beautiful Black RTS. Keep the pics coming. I may be in for a paint job. (The Spyder is my FIRST Black vehicle and all three of my current 4 wheel rides are White.) It is difficult for a white ride to be beautifully clean but it never looks bad. A black vehicle looks wonderful for 20 minutes or lesshyea:!

Just got word from the painter that he is actually going to do the two tone black and white AND hopefully have them back to me tomorrow.

That's great news, and I cant wait....I also cant wait for this whole paint fiasco to be over.
