• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT USING A SMOKER.

we are going to smoke ribs in a electric smoker.
225 degrees,, for 3 hrs, then they get spiced up and wrapped in tin foil,
for another 3 more hrs. This is all according to the admiral.
how often do I put chips in and how do I know when to refill them.
any tips would be greatly appreciated

SMOKER AND CHIPS

I don't have one but...................I've seen it done 10,000 + times and the smoking ( chips ) is done BEFORE you wrap it. !!! ....Because once it's wrapped - it's pretty much sealed......you seal it , to keep the moisture in ..................................jmho...... .......Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd my :bbq:in my house smells :yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:....Mike

Google the 3-2-1 method. This is what I do in my Masterbuilt smoker. On the second step I use apple juice in a spray bottle instead of the vinegar.
