• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Smokey Labor Day Ride

Went for a 800 mile 3 day ride this weekend as I had just one more checkpoint on my RCMC Grandtour book to check off. My wife was out in Wisconsin for her Moms 101st birthday so my son and granddaughter went with me. We thought we could avoid the wildfires if we planed it correctly but we had some smoke issues to deal with. We stayed away from the fire zones as I'm not one to lookie Lou . We ended up with a fair ride but the temps were in the high 90's and reached 103 one time. We kept cool enough with our cooling vest and took many breaks and ended the day in the campground pool. My 13 year old granddaughter is a real trooper and can go all day on the Spyder with her dad.

That ryde gave you some good looks...

...at some AMAZING scenes. Having your granddaughter is a special treat as well. Nice pics....

We actually had some of that smoke haze here in southern WI too. Sure glad it wasn't that hot though. Best part of the year is upon us here in WI.

How nice....

Looks like a great ryde, aside from the smoke, and really nice you got yo share it...even with us..:joke:in pictures...

Lots of smoke here in Newberg, Or. also. Going to ride to Portland this morning to see my Dr. Hoping to avoid as much smoke as possible, but ash on my Spyder this am.:yikes:
