• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Slow riding question

I will add my "Go for it" to all the others. I have never had a problem on the PGR missions or in the several parades I have done.
One parade was super hot out, but it was for a 9-11 artifact from the Twin Towers for a memorial , so I rode. Serveral HD and a couple others dropped out (or quit running) because of the heat.
Thanks all PGR members for you do. We had one this morning to Dayton VA Cemetery. 49 Thousand Graves on site.

I'm going to ride in the Olympia Toy Run on Sat the 7th with my grand daughter on the back. The hight temp that
day is going to be about 32, so I should not have a heat problem....

 I hope that the LACK of heat; is a situaiton that you can fully conquer! Good Luck!!

This past Sunday I rode in the annual Merritt Island Toy Ride from the Merritt Island Mall to Wickham Park in northern Melbourne, along with a number of other Spyders (including some '13s)...and 3200 other motorcycles. We were on the road averaging around 10mph for well over an hour and had absolutely no problems what so ever. I wouldn't think you'd have any problems. Truly, the only bikes we saw broken down on the route (maybe 5 or 6 of them) were Harleys.

BTW, that's not a poke at Harley, that's just what we saw.

:)

Did you know that 98% of all Harleys ever built are still on the road??

(the other 2% actually made it home!!):D

Joking aside, I've ridden in a few bike events further south than OP which were very slow going or stopped for lengthy periods. No problem whatsoever with overheating (except for me).
