• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SlingShot Review

Interesting..!!

not sure what part pertains to the spyder...but we smile all the time...:2thumbs:

I have seen a video of one rolling over in a parking lot on a sharp right turn. The left front wheel dug in and it rolled. I will pass on this car.

Slingshot

That was a interesting review. Hubby Bob bought the SL Ltd. We took off from SC to TX, NM, a week in CO, SD, Maggie Valley then home to SC. All I know is, you couldnt have slapped the grin off his face the whole trip. I was on my Spyder and I prefer that. He's off the two wheeler and I'm happy about that. We went 6000 miles and neither my Spyder or his SL had any issues except for the dirt bag who stole his SL cover. :ohyea:

Slingshot....

You know, I don't care what the author says, this isn't a motorcycle...it is a "trike" but that doesn't make it a motorcycle. You don't sit "in" a motorcycle. A motorcycle doesn't have a steering wheel. The wording and classification from a couple of states are strictly to regulate use in terms of safety and perhaps revenue collection. What the states that say it is doesn't make it a motorcycle either. Sorry, it ain't no motorcycle.

I don't see the appeal of the car. It surly isn't a motorcycle because you sit side by side with a steering wheel. A can am is completely different, it has all the motorcycle features and more.

Oh well, there's always next week to repeat what's been covered before.

The Slingshot has a lot of opportunities for farkles.

Image, a full windshield (removable), a roll cage (windshield surround and behind seats with central bar between front and rear), gull wing doors, heater box, integrated saddlebags large enough to travel a week or more, and a trailer hitch!

Drool, DROOL, DROOLL!!!!

I was asked to participate in a survey about the future development of the SlingShot... :D
They are looking at all sorts of possibilities:
Turbocharging
Automatic Transmission
Saddlebags
Trailers
Removable Hardtops
Lowered Suspension
Performance Brakes
Upgraded Interiors

They had a pretty extensive "Wish-List", and if they bring out about half of what was proposed; it's going to get interesting! nojoke
