• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi IVSSpyder,

Re: The wonderful mail service that it was shipped through, won't deliver it without the Business name on the delivery slip.

I had this very thing happen just a weeks ago. The package was returned to me. I took it up to my local post office ( where I shipped it ). They looked at it and could not figure out why it was not delivered. So they re-sent it for me. Then it came back once again. I, again, went back to my local post office & they then shipped it Priority Mail. So far I have not heard if it got there or not.

Very strange in my book.

It almost makes the term, "Going Postal"; start to make sense!

I have 2013 ST limited and installed the bumpskid two weeks ago. I did not have to drill new holes and replace with the new nut plates. The new screws went into the exciting threaded frame. I thought that the new screws were a different thread but were the same. It's still there. .so I guess it's good.

Thanks for the advice.

I ordered mine today.

Now I need to figure out if I can raise the Spyder and install it or if I will have it done.:yikes::spyder2:

Hi Jerry,
My wife just checked and they tried to actually redeliver it yesterday. The business is closed on Saturday so we'll see if they try tomorrow. They marked it business closed so maybe they had a newbie delivering Friday.
I'll keep ya'll posted.

It looks like we are STILL having more rain all this week, so if it shows up tomorrow, I'm going to try it myself. I have jack stands that I think should work.

So I bit the bullet and ordered my bumpskid and it came two days later ! :ohyea:

I am not sure how I will get it put on yet; me/friend/hire it out.

But I have a question:

Mine came with four fairly large plastic brackets............. this adds a little confusion as with all the posts I have read there has been NO comment about installing these brackets. ????? :yikes: In addition...the photos on the instructions that came with the BSkid look like an older model Spyder. The procedures are not numbered 1, 2, 3, etc. It also says for the ST-limited you may need to remove the entire front fascia.

So.....whatz up with the brackets. It would sure be nice here to have some clear photos of an install (here on this site) on the proper model Spyder. Did you install the brackets ? Were you able to get them in without any fascia removal ? I was just surprised as there has been no comment about them.

Thanks for any assistance !

I have the ST-limited 2014

Here is a photo of the brackets....they are still taped together...there are 2 for left side and 2 for right side.

call them @ 501-760-1234

Craig -- I'd call them. They were helpful when I called. Tracie answered the night I called and had Jimmy (one of the installers) call me back in the morning. He called right when they said he would, and answered my questions. I bet they can get you going in no time.

I will probably do that....I would want to get the Spyder up in the air, the stock plate off.....see whats up myself, have tools ready...and then call them...I think it would make more sense for me to see under there also. I can also send them a photo to clarify anything.

Thanks !

I received mine and have been so busy with other projects I haven't been able to put mine on yet. Mine looks just like yours.

Have you figured out what they are for yet?
