• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Skid plate

Just put on spyderpops skidplate this morning.
Install was pretty straight foreward. All but two holes were drilled thru plastic, two holes thru the metal. Hardest part was getting the two locating screws started.
Drove my 2018 F 3 Limited up on car ramps, gave plenty of room to work.
Oh yea, if you chock the rear wheel .... Don't forget to remove chock before backing off ramp ...duh.

I used my ramps on the tailgate of my Truck. Drive up halfway and tie it off. It was high enough to get under the spyder with a creepy crawler. I did my Baja Ron Sway bar and bumpskid before I let it down. Nice way to get a jump start at the essentials.

I’d say the majority of people add the bumpskid for on road only. They’re designed to minimize any damage if you cannot avoid road debris.
