I'm heading out Wednesday morning for Gatlinburg from Charlotte, NC.

I head out through Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, stopping for lunch at a nice little place called Genny's on the left side of the road in Chimney Rock. Nice set of twisties on the way out of town.

Anyway... I know there are some of you out there going. Let me know and maybe we can meet at Genny's for Lunch/Brunch and move out from there. Last year tried to meet up with a couple, but rain delayed everyone's time table that day.

Hey Dan,

Vickie and I are leaving out Wednesday morning from Hickory. Our plan is to travel I-40 all the way to the Foothills Parkway exit and then take it and 321 into Gatlinburg (staying at Days Inn in Gatlinburg). Lake Lure is a little out of the way, but it would be a nice detour. I may give you a call and follow along with you. If not, safe travels, and I look forward to meeting you in Gatlinburg.

My wife and I will be leaving Memphis Wednesday morning early on the RT-S and RS. Hope to get to Gatlinburg by early afternoon. Will be taking I-40 all the way

It is a nice ride via Lake Lure...... And my way from Hickory is only... ONLY 40 more miles and scenic...Though looking at the map from Hickory, you have some nice options for scenery too!

Anyway.. buzz me and let me know.. I wear a scala and have the phone rigged to it.

Jimmy and I will be leaving around 1:00 Wednesday....got to do that ole teaching thing...but I hope we get to meet up! We are camping at the Riverside Campground -just about 4 miles from the Bass Pro Shop off interstate 40. We would love for the NC people to come by one evening and chill at the campground with us...(and anybody else that wants to hang out) or we could meet up Friday evening for dinner or something. Friday I think we are going to do a ride to the Devil's Triangle if anyone is interested. Pm me if you want our cell phone numbers!!!

Hello from Morganton,
Good to hear sound off, we would like to get together for a ride. We have 2k miles on the bic now. Have not done the DSP yet, getting use to it now and will miss the steering feel. Love the bic, sound off.

Hi Hickory! You are already on the road now, but I can only come up for Saturday's events. I just got my Spyder last Saturday! I hope to meet you; I will be looking for that bike... actually, maybe I have seen your bike already at Schronce's last week...
