• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

... I'm going to have to take my Spyder to the dealer for the next farkling episode!
I just EBayed the ACS to bring the rear suspension up to RTS and Limited specifications.
My question is: Does anybody know how long it it supposed to take to install this rig?
I've got to allow for labor charges or the Missus will make me wish for death if I try to slide any unexpected expenses past her...

It came down to the Limited's wheels or the ACS... function beat form this time!

Pretty $$$... My dealer was going to do it for 1/2 the cost of the install if my cruise control was going to be replaced (since they would have to remove most of the panels for that reason) and be under warranty. But the cruise control was functional... so the cost went to $300 (labor time I believe is 4-5 hours, plus they have to calibrate it in BUDS). I rather inflate it manually... I'm ryding solo so it really doesn't bother me until the wife gets lonely or tired of ryding on her own...:banghead:

Good luck with your install  Man 50 bucks an hour, thats got to be the cheapest shop rate I've herd of in 20 years .

I do not remember what the installation cost of the auto rear suspension was. You will really like ACS. If you are like me you will have wished that you had done it sooner. Just remember if you adjust the rear suspension, have the bike running and in gear to make changes.

Thanks Sam!
I actually wish that I had bought The RTS model rather than my A&C... :gaah:
But I'm starting to gain ground on the conversion! I'll just have the wheels to do now, and I like the Limited's bright chrome wheels better anyway! :2thumbs:
