• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shop lift

I also restore and rebuild old Cub Cadet tractors so a couple years ago I found an air lift that came out of the York Harley factory. Bought it and made it 36" longer. It works awesome. Fast forward to the Spyder purchase. Got to looking at the lift and how can I make this work with the RT. Well some 2"X2" steel box tube, some steel plates and I can make front wheel pads that will slip onto the ends of the platform. Pics are of the lift with a Cub on it and before the new adapter for the Can Am. Will post pics of the adapter I'm building.

Edit: Think I should have posted this in this section "Spyder ShopTalk (all models)" Mods please feel free to move this thread, sorry for posting in the wrong section.

Gotta say..!!

it looks like it would work for the spyder as well. A bit longer perhaps...:dontknow: could use a drop of paint....:roflblack:

It's long enough but I had to make it wider to accommodate the front wheel width. More pics to follow as I finish the "Spyder Adapter". As far as paint for the lift goes, well you can't see it with the shop door closed, LMAO.

This is what I did. I made the side extension poles longer and built wooden ramps for the back of the lift (not shown) for the front tires to roll up.
