Shipping cost?

Hi folks, was going to order a flag Mount and two flags from Ultimate Seats. $110.00 order. Got to shipping and they wanted $20.00.
Is it just me, or does that seem at least twice as much as it should be?

$20 on a $110 order does not seem to bad. It is those shippers who used to try to get $100 plus to ship a $50 item to AK. I found that ordering through Amazon, on most things, free shipping could be had (No Prime either).

Don't know if that is the situation here...but you might check.

Amazon is not always the best seller, price or shipping. They do however have one of the best return procedures. Like AR says, if you are not in a hurry you can most likely get free shipping from Amazon, but not always the best price.

The mounts and flags from Ultimate Seats are of the highest quality and ours are 3 years old and they still look rather new. We had them installed by Ultimate Seats in Ormond Beach when they installed our new custom seat. Don't remember how much we payed for ours but you can be assured they are top notch and worth the investment. Enjoy!

:agree:...… To me - shipping is a mystery ( like, insurance pricing ) … an example is this … I just bought two tires from TireRack … The price for each tire was competitive with other sellers …. they shipped UPS, I got them the next day , they weighed 52lbs ( total ) ... the shipping was free from their Ct, warehouse... that's a lot of weight and wrapped together it's quite large …. as a vendor small time vendor I can tell you its a cost thing I cant afford a acct setup monthly fees are included due very low output so I have to go by what the post office says ive looked into finding cheaper shipping its just not out there both fedex/ups are even higher priced than p.o. least with the post office I can get 3 day shipping cheaper than the other two. no one wants to wait 7-10days for there products I know i'm always willing to pay a little more to get it asap. I do know the bigger vendors or stores can absorb the cost of monthly fees to get you free shipping or reduced cost but remember this nothings free these days they just raise the cost of the product to cover the cost. but I can say this for myself when I charge for shipping im making zero off the customer I know it stinks and I hate to send a paypal request with high shipping cost..well im always willing to look into other means of shipping if its cheaper than the p.o.

if you mean stamps.com yes monthly fees involved in that also.

Another good Flag seller is "Rumbling Pride". If/when one of their flags get tattered they will replace it free. You do have to ship them the old one and of course its a $7.50 fee!!

" stamps.com " …. I don't think so …… I think the US Postal service has residential rates and commercial user rates ….. Have you ever spoken with any of the other Vendors on the Forum ???? …. I purchase stuff on E-bay constantly, I always chose " Free shipping " when I look for prices. …. Some of the items are not very expensive ( some dirt cheap :roflblack: ) … Question - how can a seller offer free shipping on a $ 5.00 item …. shipped from Calif. ????? ( to Vermont )… Example - I just bought a set of 20 Lug nuts for Mag wheels ( they are different than the conical ones & pricier )…. Paid $ 14.00 , with free shipping from Ca. … the package had to weigh over 3 lbs...…. Friend I believe there is a way for you to ship for less.....
