• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shift RPM/Clutch Lock up

I know I've read at what RPM the clutch fully engages on the 998 engine, at what RPM does the 1330 fully engage? Looking to understand where I need to shift my new '14 Limited to prevent premature clutch wear.

Thanks!

If you put it in eco mode and watch the green arrow it will tell you when to shift for optimal performance ie. on both fuel economy and clutch wear... somewhere in another thread in here Lamont published the rpm shift points for eco mode on 2014 1330 engine

You don't need to worry about the clutch plates with the new transmission; it's a hydraulic; not centrifugal setup now... :2thumbs:

While reading my 2014 Operator Guide last night I found the clutch engages at 1100 rpm on the SE6.

Thanks all for the input.
