• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, i entered the RTS in my first bike show. Now I've been to this promoters bike shows several times in the past few years. But this is a n00bie event for me.

Granted my bike is not customized like xXx or others. But to be honest it does have 14 custom mods... lights etc. But since the Spyder is so unique, I polled Spyderlovers and all agreed that I should enter and I did.

The Spyder front end is so wide, that it would not fit through the doorway to the room they designated for static bikes. So MY spot is right up front in near the main drag. Good spot i think. Other choice was right next to the Sick Boys playmate girl...:2thumbs: they nixed that choice.:gaah: I polished her up, (the bike that is) as best I could as the spray can had frozen from the cold weather. In case you've been under rock, we got wolloped with 20+ inches of snow on Wednesday.

I even put together a sign with six color photos... One of the Rotax engine, 5 of the BRP tour with the sides off an RS (no-one other than us would know anyway!)

So If you go to the show, please vote for my Spyder. Its the ONLY ONE!:D

I showed up with a great friend that will be soon re-locating to Texas, so this was guys night out sort of thing.

Congrats on battling the weather to enter the show. I know weather was one of your concerns. I really like the idea of the Rotax engine display photo. That is one of the most frequent questions. Sounds like you put a lot of thought into your display. Best of luck in the voting!

I wonder if Lamont would be pissed at me if I also posted a picture of a SickBoy Playmate possibly standing next to the Spyder?

But knowing what they wear... I would have to put two of those large black rectangle boxes over certain parts!:roflblack::roflblack:

I may just need to create a gallery somewhere.:shemademe_smilie:

Glad to hear you were able to brave the weather and got your Spyder in the show. We definitely need a lot of pictures of things going on at that show.

remember this is WINTER:( and we are DEPRESSED and need to have a reason to SMILE again :2thumbs:
Remember this is a family friendly site. Just put the picture in your gallery or email to the members that would like it. That is probably the best solution.

Great to meet you today at the Motorcycle show at Rockingham Park!

I was the big guy in the black jacket...

I will post pictures... soon. (Or pichers):roflblack:

But to be honest, i'm not sure that the location was all that great for where they had me put the bike. I got the impression from a few people i talked to that they thought _I_ was a dealer or representing BRP. One lady (with her husband) I had to emphatically say... "NO, No NO, I'm purely here to show the bike as static contest. I dont represent BRP or any dealer nor do I want to sell it."

But I will say this: towards the very end of today (Its a two day show). about 4pm or, most all the crowds were clearing out, a father with his two girls came over. Nate (One of the family members of the show producers, asked the youngest girl (6yrs old i woudl guess) who are you voting for... She being very serious pointed to my bike and the father said.. B35 (The number for my bike). The older daughter (8 or 9yrs old) said, B40.

That was my favorite part of the day!

But here is another observation: I counted just 18 or so bikes. But far many more trophies than bikes. Hmmm....
