• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

She's on display now at the Rockingham Track, Salem NH motorcycle show

You're a shoe in for a trophy. BumbleBee entered her RT in a show that was mostly Harleys, and the voters were mostly Harley owners, and still got second place. Best of luck to you!!:doorag:

Some detail of the lower part of the posterboard I made:
(Yeah I know most of the specs are from an RS, but no one at this show would know the difference!)

I will post pictures... soon. (Or pichers):roflblack:

But to be honest, i'm not sure that the location was all that great for where they had me put the bike. I got the impression from a few people i talked to that they thought _I_ was a dealer or representing BRP. One lady (with her husband) I had to emphatically say... "NO, No NO, I'm purely here to show the bike as static contest. I dont represent BRP or any dealer nor do I want to sell it."

That seems to be an interesting phenomenon with putting the Spyder in shows. I have also had people ask me if my Spyder was for sale many times already.

One time I actually thought about telling someone I would sell it for $30K. If they bought it I would go get a brand new one and start over on the mods. :roflblack:

:congrats:

Just out of curiosity, which class did they put you in? That always seems to be an issue for the shows I have gone to. :dontknow: Many just end up putting the Spyder in with the trikes.

:clap::2thumbs::2thumbs: BIG CONGRATS :2thumbs::2thumbs::clap:

Is your digital dashboard display mod a custom or COTS?

Thank you all!:firstplace:

Although it was a fun experience, I did decide not to enter into the next show in two weeks at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, promoted by the same company. And the ONLY reason is; I know the area very very well. I used to work in that part of Boston for a few years.
Parking and the lack of open areas to move a truck and trailer can be a real pain. It's what take the fun out of showing a bike. I doubt the wether will be kind to allow me to ride it in. New England weather can be very brutal.

I may do their show in Wilmington MA, which is just up the road from me.

Rockingham in Salem NH on the otherhand, was a breeze with the acres of open free parking.
