• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

For those who ryde with a sheepskin on an RT, how do you fit them on the seat? Do you have a back rest, and if so, do you cover the back rest? I here they are very comfy, but would like some input as how to use and so on. Thanks in advance.

Full Pelt

I have the full pelt from Alaska Leather and I put in on backwards from the way it would fit on a normal MC seat. It does not cover the passenger backrest. I is very comfy.

A sheepskin usually just fits on the seat, typically held on with elastic straps. Alaska Leather makes a dandy.

I have the combo sheepskin/gel from AK Leather. A very nice seat. I do not use the straps--just set it on the seat and sit on it. No problem with it moving around on me. Easy throw in the trunk or frunk when parking.

I've got half a hunk from Misty Mountain; it's very comfortable... Thr elastic just slides up under the seat and hold it in place reasonably well. I WOULD like to see them with a two-pice elastic strap that velcroes together in the middle; that way you can work it around the strut for the seat...
