• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sheepskin seat covers

OK , can you put a sheepskin over the beadrider - and get the beadrider circulation BUTT a softer top covering???:dontknow:

I use the air hawk under the sheepskin and the sheepskin straps hold the airhawk on. I have never used the air hawk straps. When I get off the bike, I throw it in one of the cases. While riding, my weight holds it in place also. the trick of the air hawk is use "just enough" air to suspend your behind a few millimeters above the seat fabric. It takes much less air than you would think!!

I've been using
http://www.alaskaleatheronline.com/servlet/the-Deluxe/Categories sheepskin for years, winter and summer, you can cut to fit if you want.
Excellent products and several friends also use them.

:2thumbs: Thanks for the Link- I ordered the Medium in Silver and hope to use it to make the stock seat more comfortable.
Like others I have a small butt and this along with or in place of the beadriders (Depending on the humidity) will increase my comfort without paying $425 for a comfort seat. Should be Great in the winter, Also!!!!

UPDATE: Package shipped within ONE HOUR~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recieved my Alaska sheep cover today and tried it for a hour in 90+ heat with 72 dew point (Sticky Poo).
Put it over the beadriders and the venting of the beadriders along with the nice cushy feel felt great!!!
Bendriders are great BUT when you have a small rear like me the Sheepskin felt really good and can probably be used by itself in Non Humid conditions and should be Great in the winter! Pictures attached.
This was medium 15x16 Silver.

I bought the Airhawk Medium seat because my rear is "bone on seat" and was looking for some comfort. Obviously I haven't found the right amount of air to use. I am 5' 10" tall and this air seat puts the top of the windshield dead center of my eyes. I kept letting more and more air out but finally got frustrated and took it off and put it in the frunk. I was a bit concerned too about how it would work taking the non-stop twisties that my MC seems to love........arrrrrrrgggggggggg I will continue to try and find that perfect amount of inflation.

reply, sheep skin seat cover

Why not save some major bucks and find a local IKEA store and buy a pelt and lay it onto your saddle! All the comfort and only thirty dollars spent!!!!

The folks at Sheepskin Factory have a custom fit by cutting and sewing more than 1 piece together, something you can't get by just laying a rug on the seat.

I use a sheepskin meant for babys cribs and I think they use them in seniors home to prevent bed sores. The nice thing about these is it is washable and is big enough to cover both seats.Lucky me bought it at a yard sale brand new still in packaging for $10.00

The exact reason why I bought the 2 pc seat covers. The wife doesn't like her cover. Whew, so glad I didn't buy the 1 pc total seat cover.

Their was a vender at Spyderfest last year that has Spyder sheep covers.
The vender name is Misty Mountain Sheepskin Co.
We purchased 2 for our RSS they work great.Their # 1-417-443-3357
They have a web cite.
Do not have anything to do with the info. Just found their card.

I just received my new sheepskin seat covers from SheepskinFactory.com (http://www.sheepskinfactory.com) I ordered the two piece but they also make a one piece cover.
Thank you to InspectorGadget for seat cover information.

I have had many products from them for two Spyders and numerous motorcycles. Genuine real and good quality, not the worthless fake sheepskin that some companies use. I believe I was the first to use them on my 2013 RT. The owner went to a Can AM dealer and measured it to fit. It fit perfectly. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Very nice people to work with.

JBARNES, yes the sheepskin pads do help with comfort, at least for me it helps very, very much. I can't ride more than an hour without out it.

I had it on my ST because the AZ sun got the seat just a little on the hot side and also helped with that wet butt syndrome. Then when I got my F3 I left it off for a bit just to see. My husband and I went for a weekend ryde and I was so totally miserable. Believe me that sheepskin cover went back on so fast!!!! I will not ryde without it again! For me another lesson learned.

Just a quick caveat: Continued exposure to strong sunlight will bake out whatever color they are...
It's not a problem: just something to be aware of! nojoke
